My core interest is how emotion and artful approaches facilitate innovations and entrepreneurial behavior. I examine the effects that the social sharing of emotion has on knowledge sharing, development of organizational narratives, and the self-presentation of CEOs in start-up businesses. Further, I have focused on artful approaches, such as organizational theatre or artist-company partnerships, as means to foster multi-level innovations.
